1. General Rules
- NO abuse of other members.
- NO trolling.
- NO swearing in thread titles.
- NO posts in text speak or all caps.
- NO links to illegal downloads.
- Avatars and images posted should be of a reasonable size in terms of space and filesize. Please note that images in signatures are not allowed. Pornographic images should not be posted.
- Threads containing subject matter or posts which may not be suitable to view from the workplace must be clearly marked as Not Safe For Work.
- Most importantly, please use your common sense when posting. Should there be any post that the moderators deem unsuitable for the forums - they will be removed with warnings or bans given, if necessary.
2. Moderation Policy
- Users will be warned by a moderator (either in the topic, in the post itself or by private message) should they post something considered to be unacceptable. Their decision is final and not a signal to enter a debate. Comments considered to be generally offensive will be removed. Should a comment be especially offensive, a temporary ban may be given.
- Users who ignore a warning or users who are abusive towards moderators after being warned will receive a temporary ban.
- Any user repeatedly temporarily banned may receive a permanent ban.
- Any private contact between moderator and user will remain private, therefore enquiries as to what happened or will happen to another user who did something worse/the same thing/started it etc. will not be answered.
- Users should contact a moderator if there is something on the forum they consider to be offensive or abusive by either sending a PM to a moderator or using the "Report to moderator" link at the bottom right corner of the post.
3. Legal Information And Miscellany.
- You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum and any related websites to this forum.
- Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.
